Another well spent day off with my best buddy Janine. Too bad weren't able to eat at The House of Lasagna and so we head to Shakey's. I still prefer Banapple's Creamy Penne than what I ordered at Shakey's. Finally watched Insidious 2, it was pretty scary than the first chapter, a must watch movie but not for the weak hearted person. Haha. I also did a little driving but I wasn't able to pull it over, now thinking that my driving skills suck, I need to refresh. Ugh.

Friday OOTD. Popping colors with my cool aztec top from Landmark, orange side bag and my neon yellow sandals from Forever21. Fridays are best spent with friends. Went on gaga with the northern sale, splurged ourselves with chicken and coffee.

I looked stiff with my DIY white fringe T- shirt and these quirky aztec leggings. Clothes in monochromes are always the best: simple, clean and fun. Just had a Despicable date with my sister and cousin before heading to work.

Perfect time to wear comfy and breezy clothes because of the extreme heat we're experiencing right now. Here is a DIY top which I made from my dad's old shirt. Cut- off sleeves and neckline. Loved the print at the back. See the muscle man there? Reminds me of WWE.

Second time I'll be posting about nails. I only did this for 5 minutes.
Sorry for the messy thing in my nails because this is so random.

Away from blogging, and been very busy composing and organizing our business. I dedicate this post to Florence and the Machine's song The Dog Days Are Over. I'm a bit obsessed with their music. I can feel the beat and melody of their songs, the lyrics and all that.

HOME MADE PICHI PICHI

Homemade Pichi- pichi, an all time favorite Filipino dessert made with cassava or kamoteng kahoy, it's just like a puto or cake which is first introduced in Quezon Province here in the Philippines. Here is a quick recipe guide for you.

Ingredients:

• 1 kg. grated cassava or kamoteng kahoy
• 2 cups of pandan juice
• 1 1/2 cups white sugar
• 1 tsp. lihia
• 1/4 kg. jackfruit or langka
• grated cococut or cheese (toppings) 

Procedure:

      
      Mix all the ingredients and steam for 25 mins. Top or roll in grated coconut or cheese. As easy as that. Hope you like it. :)

READ MY NAILS

I'm so thrilled to create something with nails, so I decided to share you what I did yesterday. I know this is not new and a lot of people made this but lemme help you guys.  Video editing is tedious, maybe I'll post next time. I made a Newspaper Nail Art. Follow these simple steps.

1. Prepare a base color nail polish (I use tan), cut out newspaper, rubbing alcohol and container and a colorless nail polish.

2. Finish your nails with the base color. Let it dry.

3. Submerge the newspaper cut outs one at a time in a rubbing alcohol.

4. Put it against your nail and press it hard. Wait until the newspaper's dry and take it off gently.

5. Using alcohol rub gently excess newspaper in your nails, keeping the print on.

6. Apply a finishing touch with a colorless nail polish.
