ACCENT

Back to reality. Duty mode after almost a week of my first out of the country vacation with mom and sister. Presenting my first OOTD as of the moment. Thought that the weather will be a bit cold as I've searched from the internet but it was blazing 32 degrees. Day and night it's humid and I was so timid to complain about it.

ANIMAL INSTINCT

Featuring my katas ng 13 month pay item of the year, Nike Lunar Glide 5 which I already used during the We Run Manila 2013. Though it's a masculine type of running shoes it really fits this girly romper from Chicabootie, to make it not so revealing I covered myself with a cashmere cardigan. Oh! by the way I already cut my hair. Haha.

BLACK TARO

Currently in love with violet and black. Now pairing this thrifted button down shirt with jeans and sneakers and incorporating the white plastic clutch, giving you a sophisticated sporty chic. Simple and clean look for my cousins despedida party last Sunday.

Regular off on a Holiday. Battling the scorching of the Bulacan. Missing the shades of green, local people hanging out, nipa huts and bungalow houses around the block. The empty streets seem to remind those people who left us behind. Clean and colors of gloom (silver, purple and black) to sum up today's outfit.

This day was the longest and most tiring ride of my life. Spent half of the day traveling different towns of Bulacan with the most convenient service, jeepney. I didn't enjoy the trip because of the freaking heat of the sun and the dusty road we've been through. We just had a short visit to our Lola to celebrate her birthday. A lot has changed, I missed the old place.

Make up and get up in less than 30 minutes done. Credits to my sister for letting me borrow all of her stuff (take note, that's from head to toe) minus the underwear of course. Haha. It was a lovely lunch out with my family as we celebrated my Mom's 59th birthday. Indeed, my mom was surprised when the Aristocrat crew brought out the cake with matching birthday song. Mom was in denial, funny memory of her.

NEONS AND AZTECS

Friday OOTD. Popping colors with my cool aztec top from Landmark, orange side bag and my neon yellow sandals from Forever21. Fridays are best spent with friends. Went on gaga with the northern sale, splurged ourselves with chicken and coffee.

MONOCHROMES

I looked stiff with my DIY white fringe T- shirt and these quirky aztec leggings. Clothes in monochromes are always the best: simple, clean and fun. Just had a Despicable date with my sister and cousin before heading to work.

STRIPES IN ILLUSION

The wonders of stripes, it can make you look slimmer or bigger. Cheers to my newly dyed hair and my new comfy sandals. Giving my sneakers and chucks a day off. Simple casual day look.

CHILL

We have been experiencing a bit odd weather, they say it's because of the low pressure areas around the sea and the winter air in China. I'm facing a big challenge to wake up early, kick my butt to the comfort room and bathe the freezing water. But what I like with this weather is that I can use my knits, pullovers and sweaters even if the sun shines so brightly while having a nice cup of hot strong coffee.

Hello there! (breathe in, breathe out). Let me bid goodbye to 2012 and say hi to New Year. Fresh start, new beginning. Starting the year right with an outfit post. Check out my do-it-yourself detachable collar which I've been hiding from  my closet for a long time. This time my cousins and I decided to wear something vintage, thank God my sister bought this cool top and I paired it with this tight high waisted pants (Seriously, tiis ganda). I just love how my mustard wedge gave a pop of color to the whole outfit. My new year resolution is to be happy, to live, to love and to smile.

Posted this because I missed the old times, I mean our usual routine during Christmas day: waiting for 12 o'clock and then greeting and texting everybody, opening gifts, eating mom's homemade foods, having a solemn mass and then leaving the city to visit our grandparents-- all these and more. I had a working holiday once again and will be on duty on New Year's eve and day. Hoping for another great year. Merry Christmas to all of you! Hohoho.

Fast forward to new year, it has been a month and now I'm rotating to ER, yes a little new atmosphere. I  will surely miss my CD family and all the routines. Yet another chance to prove myself and test my skills. My week has been full of surprises. I attended my cousins' wedding and became their make up artist, had another annoying toothache and even got late for work. Atleast everything went smoothly. I love my sisters' bandage skirt, it made me look a lot longer and I chose to wear smokey eyes and sleek hairstyle for a sophisticated/ boho look. Oh! and spot my neon rainbow bracelet.

Opted to wear something comfy and at the same time minimized the use of chunky knits and tight pants. Sorry for the poor picture resolution, minimally used the camera flash of my friends' phone. Semi- fulfilling day with coffee, movie, junkies and my friend as my company. Tomorrow will change my circadian rhythm for at least week I guess.
